The ProblemLanding new tricks and going bigger is what keeps riders hooked, but right now progression is a guessing game. You never really know if that was your biggest jump yet, if you finally spun a clean 360, or how to prove it to your crew — or yourself. Without real feedback, riders stall out. The stoke fades, and progression slows.

The Solution

WakeMate Makes Every Ride Count

No more guesswork. WakeMate is the first device and app built for riders who want to progress faster. It tracks your jumps, airtime, tricks and speed in real time, syncs instantly with the WakeMate app, and gives you proof, PBs and bragging rights to push progression further. It’s simple: clip it on, ride, and see exactly how you stack up — against yourself and your crew.

What is WakeMate?

WakeMate is a small, waterproof device that tracks everything you do on the water — from jump height and airtime to spins, tricks and speed. It syncs with the WakeMate app after every ride to show your stats, personal bests, and progress over time. WakeMate gives you the proof and feedback to keep improving and out-riding your crew.

What sports does it work for?

WakeMate is designed for wakeboarding, both tow and cable, with more sports like waterskiing, foiling and wakesurfing coming soon. The same device works across all supported sports — you just select the sport in the app.

How does it attach to my board?

The device sits inside a custom low-profile holder that fits securely between your bindings or straps (included with the device). It’s lightweight, waterproof, and designed to stay out of the way while you ride. You’ll barely notice it’s there until you check your stats after.

Is it waterproof and durable?

Yes — completely. WakeMate is fully sealed, impact-tested and designed to handle crashes, splashes and saltwater. It’s been tested by pro riders to make sure it survives the toughest sessions.

Do I need my phone while riding?

No. The device records everything on its own. Once you’re done, open the app and it syncs your data automatically via Bluetooth.

What does the app show me?

The WakeMate app gives you a detailed look at every ride — jump height, airtime, spins, tricks, top speed, distance and personal bests. You can view each session, see your averages, and track how your performance improves over time.

How does it connect to the app?

After your ride, the device connects automatically via Bluetooth. Syncing takes just a few seconds, and your stats appear instantly in the app — no cables or setup needed.

Can I compare my stats with friends?

Yes. You can follow your crew, share sessions, and compete in monthly challenges or leaderboards. It’s built to make progression social and fun.

Is my data private?

Absolutely. Your ride data belongs to you. You decide what’s visible to others and what stays private — all managed easily from your app settings.

Will I need an internet connection?

Only when syncing or viewing cloud-stored history. The device records everything offline during rides, so you can leave your phone on the dock.

When is WakeMate launching?

We’re targeting January 2026 for the first public release. Waitlist members will get early access and exclusive rewards before the full launch.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every rider who joins the waitlist will receive a 30-day free trial when WakeMate launches.

How much will it cost after the trial?

Pricing will be announced closer to launch, but our goal is to keep it affordable so every rider can experience performance tracking. Waitlist members will receive exclusive early pricing and bundle offers.

How do I sign up early?

Just enter your name and email on this page to join the waitlist. You’ll get early access, updates, and a guaranteed spot for the free trial when we go live.

Is early access limited?

Yes. Spots for the first wave of riders are limited to ensure a smooth rollout and hands-on feedback. Once full, new signups will join the next phase.

How long does the battery last?

WakeMate lasts around 4–6 hours of active ride time per charge — enough for multiple sessions in a single day.

How do I charge it?

Each device comes with a custom magnetic dock that connects via USB-C. Drop it in after your session and you’ll be fully charged in under two hours.

Does it work with all boards?

Yes. The included holder fits most boards. Additional mounting options for other sports are in development.

What happens if I lose or damage it?

We’ll offer replacement and repair options after launch. Early riders will also have access to discounted hardware protection plans.

How can I get in touch with the team?

You can reach us anytime at admin@wakemate.com.au or message us on Instagram. We love hearing from riders and usually reply within a few hours.
